Posh (H) - Match Blog #4

The Reds were looking to bounce back from our poor performance on Saturday against Bristol Rovers, as our attention turned to Peterborough for the Tuesday night game under the lights for the first time in the league this season!

Unfortunately there wasn't much improvement, in fact it was equally poor. Despite taking the lead just after half-time, and just like the Bristol Rover's game, we sat back and let the opposition have chance after chance, but unlike the weekend's hosts, Peterborough were clinical in front of goal and took their chances well. It ended in a 3-1 defeat tonight, with a very disappointingly poor performance.Let's hope this was a one-off, because if we play like that on many more occasions, we'll be lucky to finish mid-table!
