Declan Bourne to referee Cheltenham V Barnsley

Declan Bourne will referee the Sky Bet League One match between Cheltenham Town and Barnsley on Saturday 18th February 2023.

This fixture will see Barnsley manager Michael Duff return to the club where he once played and managed.

Duff played 300 times for the Gloucestershire club between 1996-2004 and managed the club between 2018 – 2022 taking them to their highest placing in the club’s history.

Bourne has officiated 119 games predominantly in League Two and the National League. In those 119 games, Bourne has issued 389 yellow cards and 19 red cards.

Bourne`s only previous time officiating the Reds was in this seasons 3-0 away win at Cambridge where Liam Kitching was sent off.

Barnsley head to Cheltenham in 6th place on 53 points and on a 5 game unbeaten run. Cheltenham are currently 18th in League One on 33 points after winning 2-1 away at Cambridge on Tuesday evening.
