Craig Hicks to referee Forest Green Rovers clash with Barnsley

Saturday`s Sky Bet League One clash between Forest Green Rovers and Barnsley will be officiated by Craig Hicks.

If the hosts draw or lose against the Tykes, they will be relegated for the first time since 1955. Rovers currently sit bottom of League One with 26 points, 14 points from safety. Barnsley are currently 4th in the table on 78 points still in the hunt for an automatic promotion place.

Last time out Forest Green lost 2-0 away at Wycombe whilst the Tykes beat Shrewsbury 2-1 at Oakwell in a bruising clash that saw Nicky Cadden given a straight red card for an alleged dangerous tackle. Barnsley boss Michael Duff confirmed that his side will not appeal the 3 game suspension meaning Cadden misses out of returning to his former club.

Hicks has officiated 28 games this season, 14 in League One. In those 28 games Hicks has issued 97 yellow and 7 red cards. The last time Hicks refereed a Barnsley game was back in January in the 2-0 loss away at Charlton.

Hicks has officiated Forest Green twice this season in the League, their 1-2 home defeat to Ipswich in August and their 1-1 home draw to Lincoln in February.

The full list of officials for Saturday's game between Forest Green and Barnsley are:
