The big day had arrived and a massive opportunity to gain ground on the team around us. We needed all three points, and who would have thought we wouldn't against lowly Cheltenham! With 4 teams around us playing each other, we couldn't slip up....but in typical Barnsley style we fluffed our lines.

In fairness we had plenty of chances, and our visitors didn't really offer anything, but we couldn't put our chances away.

In the first 20 minutes it was chance after chance for the Reds, and the rest of the game pretty much followed suit to be honest. Around 20 attempts on goal, and none converted. We've lost ground on the top two, and even the happiest of clappers won't be banking on top two now.
